Today (6/12), Samsung has added a new model to its Galaxy A lineup, introducing the Galaxy A10e. Essentially, this is considered the budget version of the Galaxy A10 introduced at the end of February, featuring a slightly smaller screen and battery but an upgraded selfie camera.
The Galaxy A10e features an Infinity-V display, measuring 5.83 inches, smaller than the 6.2-inch screen of the Galaxy A10. This screen utilizes an IPS panel and has an HD+ resolution (1520 x 720 pixels). Internally, this phone is powered by the Exynos 7884 processor, coupled with 2GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
While the Galaxy A10 comes with a 5MP front camera, the selfie camera on the Galaxy A10e is upgraded to 8MP and placed within a waterdrop notch. It has a 3000mAh battery, preloaded with Android 9 Pie OS with the latest OneUI user interface upon release.
Unfortunately, despite the launch of the Galaxy A10e, Samsung has yet to disclose the full specifications and features of this phone. Hopefully, other specs of the device will remain the same as on the Galaxy A10.
It's highly likely that the Galaxy A10e will be equipped with a 13MP camera similar to the one on the back, with an f/1.9 aperture and LED flash. It lacks a fingerprint sensor on the back, but at least it will still support face unlock. Additionally, the device features a 3.5mm headphone jack and uses a MicroUSB 2.0 port.
According to estimates, Samsung will sell the Galaxy A10e in the US for $179 (approximately 4.16 million Vietnamese dong).
